Whether you’re a rockabilly rebel, you have floral fever or you’re a day dress diva, we have something for you! All of our dresses are designed in Brighton, by our wonderful design team.
A british clothing brand with focus on affordable! I really love how they have a diverse selection of styles. Ranging from rockabilly style to more true retro inspired styles. There’s something for everyone. For the girl that just needs a pretty dress for that special occasion to a girl like me that likes dressing up in a rockabilly way almost everyday.
From reviews it also seems that the sizing is very true to the chart, it is consistent and that is a plus! For us Norwegians shipping is always very important and that is mostly one of the first things I check when finding a new brand or webshop. £12,99 flat shipping to Norway and you get tracking! My dress arrived in 3 days so shipping is fast as long as it do not get stuck in customs.

This back of this classic cocktail dress is elasticated with a concealed zip and is made from soft cotton with stretch. Perfect for a summers day, a night out or any formal occasion!

Normally in a tube dress I would size down, most of the time you should size down in this style for the best fit and to avoid having to pull up the dress every five minutes. I decided to stick with my normal size since I like to wear belts and petticoats with my dresses, I also wear my normal bra with the straps tucked down and secured it to the dress with bobby pins, and it worked perfectly. The top is comfortable and has a stretch band in the back so there’s room for more bust, so a smaller size would still fit me. A concealed hook above the zipper helps it stay in place.
I love the fullness of the skirt and how soft it feels. Even though it only costs £29,99 it is still of great quality and with good care and proper washing I believe the dress will last and not lose its shape.
Applying a petticoat gives even more fullness and with different colors you can make it “pop” even more. I’ve added a white belt for a cute effect, to help keep the top in place and to help make my waist look more even since I added the petticoat.
I chose the black and white because I have a more open option on what to style it with. It goes with almost everything I own and I like having that freedom. But the Melissa dress comes in 12 different styles; polka dots, cherries and solid colors, I would love to own one of each style!
Also: I LOVE how adorable the details in the top look and how it compliments the bust!
